Temperature, light, and handling controls for laboratory reference materials.
Lot-specific instructions control: Always follow the product label and current COA when they differ from this general reference.
Lyophilized Material
Keep containers sealed, dry, protected from direct light, and within the temperature range stated in the supplier documentation. Avoid repeated temperature cycling.
Prepared Solutions
Label the container with preparation date, concentration, diluent, lot, and responsible researcher. Store protected from light and avoid unnecessary agitation.
Cold-Chain Documentation
Use a calibrated monitor when temperature control is critical. Record excursions, duration, corrective action, and disposition in the material log.
